Curtin University and AIMS present: The Academic Awards Night for Students of the Curtin School of Biomedical Sciences
Curtin University’s School of Biomedical Sciences, in conjunction with The Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS), WA Branch, are proud to present a gala awards evening to honour outstanding academic performance by students in Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology, and to present the AIMS Gold and Silver Medal Awards.
Location: Matilda Bay Restaurant, Crawley
Day/Date: Thursday 27th April, 2017
Time: Pre Dinner reception 6.30pm
Dinner to be served at 7pm
Cost: $65* (incl. GST)
After Dinner Speaker: Professor John Wetherall, Adjunct Professor, Curtin University
Professor Wetherall will describe the evolution of The School of Biomedical sciences, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, and provide a glimpse into its future.
This is the peak celebration for our budding and graduating scientists as they enter the profession, and your enthusiastic support at this event will encourage them to pursue ongoing excellence throughout their careers.
Organise a table with your work colleagues and enjoy the beautiful setting on the Swan River and a 3 course meal with refreshments (*complimentary drink on arrival bar purchases thereafter) and entertainment as the industry honours our students.
All payments to AIMS are non-refundable.
